Xbox 360

With the American release (according to vgreleases.com, March 9, 2010) of FFXII coming soon, I started wondering which system would do better than the other with this BIG release. For the first time that a Final Fantasy has been release to the Xbox, I am curious to see the numbers once it is released.  I almost think the Xbox 360 will give the PS3 a run for its money.  Though once I can get myself a PS3 my first game will be FFXIII.

One other question I was asking myself is if the Xbox does do better than the PS3 in sales for FFXIII, could that maybe spark a exclusivity to Xbox‘s in the future?

I don’t know…it was just a thought.  What do you think? Leave a comment below.

I am an avid Final Fantasy fan and I started playing FF right at 7, 7 being my favorite, and haven’t really stopped.  I currently have FF12 but I haven’t really even gotten into it.  But here is an interesting story that I found on the new release of Final Fantasy XIII:

Kitase “aiming” for FFXIII 360 to ship on 3 DVDs

The 360 version of FFXIII will ship on multiple DVDs, producer Yoshinori Kitase confirmed to VG247 at GamesCom today.

Diablo 2 High Resolution patch, best thing since sliced bread

This should be pretty sweet…I was wondering when they were going to do this.  Now Diablo II can be played at any resolution your monitor will support…NO MORE 800×600 only…WOOT!!

PS3 Slim Packing 45nm Processors

Sony has created a “Slim” model of th PS3.  Now I still can’t figure out why Sony just doesn’t invest in doing this right off the bat?  I mean why make a 30lb beast just to take another year or so and and work on a slim version?  But apparenlty this one will house a new 45-nm cell processor that is 34 percent smaller and drain 40 percent less power from the system.
